Films are imaginative way to express ideas and themes in a fun and entertaining way. During the first quarter, films such as Ferris Bueller’s Day Off, All the President’s Men, and Newsroom, demonstrates the artistic prospective each film takes to engage the audience. In Ferris Bueller’s Day Off camera angles and narrative 4th wall breaking was essential in the character development of Ferris Bueller. With the use of different camera shots and editing the director is able produce a revolutionary film. I would have the creative incentive to outline great scene using a variety of creative camera angles and shots. Although editing effects like color corrections, jump cut and transitions would cause me the most trouble when developing my film. Furthermore, guiding the actors into performing a scene in a certain way will be challenging. However, writing the script would be a major strength, making the film a good fit for me.
